Property and interior
design presenters Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan shot
to prominence during BBC 2 TV’s hugely successful
‘Million Pound Property Experiment’ where their
inimitable style, humour and flamboyance endeared them to
the public and press alike.
Both Colin and Justin
have always been interested in making the world a prettier
and more colourful place which led them to explore design.
They started practicing their design skills on friends and
families homes 16 years ago and now they have also designed
for high profile clients and some very unusual projects like
tree houses, underground homes and even a floating home. They
specialise in bringing colour and vibrancy into the home and
have launched their own line of fashion/home interior products
at Matalan.
Colin and Justin have
presented a range of peak-time property, entertainment and
lifestyle shows. They were featured on UKTV Style in a 10
week series ‘Colin & Justin’s Home Show’
and their successful show ‘Colin and Justin’s
Home Heist’ was broadcast across Europe, North America
and as far afield as New Zealand and Dubai.
They have written weekly
design columns for a wide range of British and Canadian publications
as well as publishing several books to accompany their television
series.
As well as being co-hosts,
Colin & Justin have been in a relationship for twenty-two
years. In February 2008, they were married in London in a
