PermaWood

This material is extremely hard wearing, making it ideal for commercial installations. Our PermaWood shutters are manufactured using a hardwood core combined with an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic coating. This co-polymer coating is extremely tough and resilient and is the same used in the manufacture of American football helmets.

PermaWood with its ABS coating is, by its own nature, very durable and wipe-cleanable. It would be our suggested choice for high traffic areas such as playrooms or nurseries where continual cleaning is required.
