Any window shape, made to fit
Standard windows take full height, tier-on-tier or café style. Bays, arches, gables, circles and skylights get panels shaped to suit. Either way, we measure at your home and make each shutter for its own window.

Every style, sorted by window
Choose your type of window to narrow the list. Behind each style you will find photos of ones we have fitted, the ranges that make it and answers to the questions customers ask us.
- Sheet 01Full height shuttersThe panels cover the full drop of the glass in one set. Tilt the louvres until the light and privacy feel right, or swing the panels wide open.
- Sheet 02Tier-on-tier shuttersOne set of panels sits above another, and each works apart from the other, the way a stable door does. Open the top for the light and leave the bottom shut so the street cannot see in.
- Sheet 03Café style shuttersThe shutter covers the bottom of the window and the glass above stays bare. Nobody sees in at street level, and daylight pours in over the top.
- Sheet 04Solid panel shuttersThere are no louvres, only panels of solid timber. Close them and the room turns dark and private in the traditional way. Have them painted or stained, whichever suits your floors.
- Sheet 05Blackout shuttersShutter & Shade puts a honeycomb blind at the back of the shutter to stop the light that creeps round the frame and through the slats. Shut the louvres, pull the blind, and you choose how dark the room gets.
- Sheet 06Square bay shuttersA square bay is a pain for curtain tracks. Shutters made for each of its windows let you shut the whole bay up for privacy, or open every side to the daylight.
- Sheet 07Angled bay shuttersEvery face of your bay gets measured on its own, and its panels are made to that exact angle, so the shutters wrap round the bay without a break.
- Sheet 08Curved bay shuttersOn a bow window a curtain track has no corner to sit in. We make a set of shutters for every window on the curve, and the bay holds its shape while you decide how much light comes in.
- Sheet 09Arched shuttersYour arched window keeps its outline. We shape the shutter to the curve rather than square it off, and the louvres still tilt to let the daylight in.
- Sheet 10Angled shuttersA gable, loft or triangular window needs a shutter that follows its slope. We shape every panel to the glass, angle by angle, and the shutter covers the lot, right up into the point.
- Sheet 11Round shuttersEach shutter is sized to the circle of your own window, with louvres that tilt. Ken has even made removable porthole shutters for a narrowboat owner.
- Sheet 12Skylight shuttersFor roof windows over lofts, bedrooms and bathrooms with a sloping ceiling. Angle the louvres to take the glare off, or close them when you want it darker.
- Sheet 13Conservatory shuttersConservatories bake in summer, lose heat in winter and leave you on show. Fit shutters across the walls and doors and you decide how much light, heat and privacy the room gets.
- Sheet 14Patio shuttersFit them to patio, sliding or French doors. When you want to go outside, the panels fold or slide out of the way, and when you want privacy, they close across the glass.
- Sheet 15Bi-fold shuttersThe panels fold in pairs along a track and stack left, right or both ways. Use them over a wide window or a set of patio doors, or to split a room in two.
